Cheap Car Insurance with The New Ford Ka
Ford announced this week that the new Ka should help owners lower their car insurance premiums.
The European New Car Assessment Programme (NCAP) has awarded the new Ford Ka a four star NCAP Adult rating out of a possible five stars. This Euro NCAP rating means car insurance for the Ka should be very cheap.
The new Ka Studio falls into category 1E with other models in the range grouped in categories 2E or 3E. With 1E being the lowest band, the new Ford Ka could help motorists benefit from cheap car insurance prices.
Ford say these car insurance groupings are due to the many safety features incorporated in the design, including integrated airbags and seating technology, reinforced steel door beams and ignition locks.
Prices for the new Ka start from £7,945.
A spokesperson for the data provider Cap, Martin Ward, said the Ka was “brilliant” and "It's a superb drive for such a small car, coming to the market at the right time when customers are looking for economical cars that are cheap to run, fun and have great styling".
Lower car insurance costs together with improved residual values should help reduce the overall cost of ownership.
Car Insurance always includes some exclusions and limitations which should be checked carefully. If in doubt you should check your car insurance policy wording carefully.
