The UK’s largest car insurance company is offering new customers 12 months car insurance or van insurance for the price of 10 - a discount of 16%. There is also an extra discount on any additional car insurance policy.
Car insurance quotes are valid for 90 days so it is possible to secure a price now even if your car insurance is not due for renewal yet.
Head of Car Insurance at Direct Line, Maggie Game, said "We are not on price comparison websites so we don't pay them commissions. This means that when you come to us direct we could give you savings."
Car insurance policies from Direct Line include:
- Vandalism Promise (requires comprehensive cover) – no loss of No Claim Bonus or excess if you claim on your car insurance for damage caused by vandalism
- Uninsured Driver Promise (requires comprehensive cover) – no loss of No Claim Bonus or excess if you claim on your car insurance for an accident that is not your fault and the driver of the vehicle that hit you has no car insurance
- Named Driver No Claims Discount – named drivers earn ‘Named Driver No Claims Discount’ of their own for when they take out a car insurance policy with Direct Line
Other benefits include in car entertainment cover, no claim bonus, free collection and delivery, guaranteed repairs when using an approved car insurance repairer and cars returned cleaned inside and out following a repair.
Discounts are also available on home insurance and car breakdown cover when you take out a new car insurance policy with Direct Line.
This special offer is also available for van insurance policies.
